Autumn is my favorite season. Cool weather, bright blue skies, brilliant sun and leaves slowly fading from green to yellow, gold, russet and copper instill a feeling of contentment, infuse me with excitement. And I love Autumn produce: apples and pears, figs and mushrooms, pumpkins and squash and the early citrus.
